The print reproduces newspaper coverage from October 1978, when Sid Vicious was charged following the death of Nancy Spungen at the Chelsea Hotel in New York. Vicious died in February 1979, before the case came to trial. Reproducing the tabloid record of one of punk's most notorious episodes, this 1990s tee presents the imagery in black against a white background. The distressing around the collar and across the back adds to its worn vintage character.
