Published by teNeues, the volume gathers portraits of androgynous youths, tomboy dreamers, and close collaborators photographed over extended periods of time. Known for her work with publications such as Dazed & Confused and collaborations within contemporary fashion, including projects connected to Alexander McQueen, Ibidapo approaches her subjects with unusual proximity and sensitivity.
Rather than presenting conventional fashion imagery, the photographs emerge from friendship and sustained observation. Many were taken within the artist’s own home, creating an atmosphere that feels unguarded and emotionally direct. The relationship between photographer and subject becomes collaborative, allowing each portrait to unfold with a sense of authenticity and quiet vulnerability.
Though carefully composed, the images avoid overt stylization, privileging mood and emotional presence over spectacle. Across the book, adolescence is portrayed as a fluid and transitional space one marked by uncertainty, self-invention, and fragile intimacy.
Large in scale and elegantly produced, Cult of Boys functions as both fashion adjacent image-making and personal visual diary. A compelling publication that captures the sincerity and ambiguity often absent from representations of youth.

Every Intermission title is handled as an artifact. We believe that preservation is an act of reverence one that begins the moment you open a cover or unspool a tape.
To experience a piece, do so slowly. Allow the air to touch the paper, let light fall softly over each page. Avoid excess pressure; handle edges rather than surfaces. Each mark, fold, or patina is part of its passage through time evidence of care rather than decay.
We encourage collectors to engage not only with the content, but with the gesture of preservation itself: a quiet commitment to memory.
